During the spring of 1994, shortly after my divorce was final, I bought a rather "used-up" 1970 convertible from a guy in Palm Springs, California for the outrageous sum of 2500 bucks. The car had been hit in the left front, bad enough to warrant replacement of the inner fender panel.

I initially planned on only a repair and repaint, however, like all projects, things got a bit out of hand. Using some spare parts including a shaker assembly, front and rear spoilers, and some Shelby fiberglass end caps, I attempted to construct what a Boss convertible might have looked like. In the end, I ended up nearly "cloning" my own 1970 Boss 302...
